I ordered the days special; the Hokkaido Milk Tea and its awful, it literally tastes like im drinking whole milk and nothing else. I was planning to return it but, I'm not in the city anymore. SMH. Its weird cause I've gone here before and they're milk teas are usually amazing, idk what happened today.
Fun, unique bubble tea spot - Comic Tea is a gem! My kids are big fans of bubble tea and always love trying new places, so we were excited to come across Comic Tea at 2470 St. Clair Ave W. Omg their drinks are uniquely different and absolutely delicious! You won’t find your typical menu here, and that’s what makes it so fun. The vibe in the store is awesome, we especially loved the featured art wall, which gives the space a cool, creative feel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the portions are generous. Bonus: the cups are really well-designed and super cute! If you’re in the area or even just curious to try something new, Comic Tea is definitely worth a visit!
Best bubble tea in the city or at least can compete with the top places. I’ve only been here a couple times but they have been the best quality drinks and products like the quality of the cup. The guy who works there maybe the owner but he’s young and super nice. I’ve asked for some crazy combination drinks and he can literally make it, I don’t know of any place that can make a custom drink all other places will only do set menu products. This is a local business so anyone who is in the area 100% you must get a drink you won’t regret it
Good options and really cute merch. Cosy spot and quick, kind service. I love that there are alternative milk options and lots of non-caffeinated teas too.
Jude provided amazing customer service! Please give him a raise. Over 15 people showed up and was all on his own! He was still able to provide every drinks in a timely matter! We love him.
If you’re reading this, stop reading this and go to Comic Tea. I’ve gone here 5 times since I discovered it 2 weeks ago and everything I’ve had is SO good. Staff is so friendly! And get a large. You’ll regret getting the smaller size because you’ll be sad when it’s gone too fast. Trust me!
Just visited this new shop around our block and it’s so cute! It’s clean, airy and I really like their wall of cartoons. It’s really well done. I got their Rising Phoenix and it’s really good. Something I’ve never had is this cheesecake topping - delicious! Especially with fresh strawberries, mango bits and tapioca balls. I’ll definitely be back to try all their other flavors! I’ve never seen some of the toppings or mixtures at the other bubble tea places before. They were doing some new drink flavor testing with this rose matcha and rose milk tea. So they gave me samples to try. I loved all of it and it was a pretty pink color. I hope that gets on the menu. Thanks again! Will be back soon!
