I’ve never been impressed with the professionalism and customer service here. But, hey, it’s local and convenient, so whatever. Wasn’t gonna complain. Just took a set of curtains (2 pieces) to be shortened. One piece was marked for proper length. They only shortened the one that was marked!! Went back to ask for them to do the other one. The woman wanted to charge me to do the other one. Even though I had paid for both. The woman refused to do anything because she said she couldn’t do anything without her boss’s permission. I would have to come back another day when the owner was there.
THEY RUINED MY DRESS!! I brought my dress in last week to get it hemmed. I needed about 2 inches taken off because the dress was dragging on the floor. They cut off about 12 INCHES FROM MY DRESS!!! And on top of that it was sloppy work! My dress was cut in an angle with the right being cut higher, they left markings on my dress, and the front was cut shorter than the back. This dress was suppose to be for my son’s communion. When I complained to the owner - she was rude and aggressive. The employee had to refund me through her own personal bank account. A horrible experience with no empathy from the owner. I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE AGAIN.
She lost my suit! First off, her dry-cleaning is not in house and she only picks up the dry-cleaning every Thursday. I had dropped off my suit 2 weeks before I needed it, and she informed me that was plenty of time. She never called me but I came 2 days before the wedding I needed the suit for, and was shocked to hear that she didn't have my suit and didn't know where it was! I only own the one suit so I had to scramble to borrow one from a friend. Thankfully she called me a few days later saying it got misplaced at the dry-cleaner and it would be ready the following Thursday. When I picked it up she asked me to pay full price still. I told here that I already didn't get to use the suit for the wedding and though it unfair that I should pay at all, let alone full price. She blamed the cleaners and said that she had to still pay them so I would need to pay her. After another 5 minutes of back and forth I reluctantly pay. Really unhappy with the outcome
Do not go there for cleaning! I gave my winter coat for cleaning, and I should have noticed that they were not doing the cleaning on site when she told me the price ($85! when it's around $30 in other cleaners). When I went to pick it up, I quickly check if they managed to remove the stains, and I noticed that they damaged my zipper. First thing the lady said : "It is on purpose, it was already like that before it's for the style", when they literally removed the painting on the zipper. Once I convinced her it was not like that, she said that it was already like that when I gave her the jacket, but it was not! What are we supposed to do Take a picture of every piece of cloth in advance like when we rent a car? Finally she insisted that she is not a cleaner, she doesn't know anything about cleaning a she only does alteration, and every customer knows that; the name of the store is literally LAMBTON CLEANERS, but she is not/doesn't know anything about cleaning. I can understand that some damage can happen when you clean something, but the minimal professional behavior would be to apologize/offer a discount, not get mad/try to scam the customer. Anyways, I don't know about alteration, but if you have only cleaning to do, you better go right away to a real cleaner, it's be faster, cheaper and hopefully more professional if a damage happen
This is a very nice cleaners with sweet lady working inside she is very helpful and kind. I got my jacket altered to my size and it was done very well and fast!!! I would definitely suggest this to everyone!!!
