This is an amazing company to work with! I had two stones done for my deceased cats and I love the work they did! I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a pet memorial (or any memorial for that matter). Very professional! I had a coworker pass away and we were doing a tree planting/celebration of life for her. We placed the order and received communication back very quickly with the mock up. A few days later we realized due to the upcoming holiday that the standard pick up option was not going to meet the deadline. We reached out to Stone Engraving Ontario and they were able to expedite the order and we received it the day before the ceremony. The stone is beautiful, perfect and a great representation of my coworker and dear friend. Thank you for your help and the stone.
We were very happy with the samples we received from Stone Engraving for our Fundraising project. However, getting the bricks for our pathway since first placing our order has been… challenging. Stone Engraving has completely halted communication, refusing to answer phone calls or emails. They’ve sent about half our order and our contractor has been waiting on these bricks since May and can’t start without them. We were assured a quick turnaround and the service we’ve received has been beyond disappointing. I can only hope that the rest of our bricks arrive so that our community park project, which has been funded by community donations, can finally be completed. UPDATE: Our product did eventually arrive and we were very happy with them.
We ordered a grave marker for our recently deceased pet cat, Sasha. We received a beautiful stone of excellent quality and craftsmanship which surpassed our expectations. There was a small issue with the order but Dale, the owner, went out of his way to personally rectify the matter with respect and genuine kindness.
While we are happy with the end product. We got an engraved rock. Ok. But customer service once we paid was in the least bad or barely existent. Luckily we ordered it well in advance and haven't had to delay our memorial. But production and shipping time took much longer than quoted. When we emailed and inquired we received no response for weeks and when we did get a response it was a shipping notice. Weeks late. Maybe they need more staff to help with customer service?
As with all the low star reviews my complaint is about the customer service. The confirmation email said 5-7 business days to make the rock then it would be shipped. Business day 8 I emailed for an update and got no response. Business day 10 I called and was told it just needed to be glazed and would ship the next day. Business day 13 still no shipping number and no one returned my call. I finally filed a complaint with the BBB. The BBB said they’d send my complaint to the company within two business days and what do you know, in two business days my item magically shipped. The company messaged me to tell me they saw my complaint and have shipped my item. Why did it have to come to that? Such a disappointing experience over a rock.
I ordered a memorial garden stone for a friend who recently lost her dad. The stone I received exceeded my expectations! Will definitely be using Stone Engraving again in the future!
