Been going to the farmers market every Saturday for the past 10 years since I moved to Weston. Unfortunately been noticing it getting smaller, and smaller each year (both in attendance and in vendors who come back week to week). This year between the prices of the fresh produce, and the loss of Grandpa Ken I am not seeing much reason to go. I don't mind paying extra to support local, but not 3x what it would cost at the grocery.
Weston Farmers' Market: We love the Farmers' Market and the freshness that the vendors bring to this neighbourhood. It brings a bit of shine to this area, but we find that your vendors are out of reach in terms of pricing. Weston Farmers' Market: Please do better.
Grandpa Kens peameal on a bun is really good. He does not skimp on his peameal. Also the meat samosas are Amazing. I have been visiting this market.. following it around to various locations for 25 years now. Amazing g venues from eggs to meats to Tupperware. They have it all
Here's what I saw here a few minutes ago: mix and match 2 for $7. Garlic and peppers. You can have 1 pepper and 1 garlic for only 7 bucks. I couldn't believe it so I asked the vendor. Yep, 2 for 7. I wished him good luck?✌️ Don't bother coming here.
Really love the vibe and set up of this market! It is a great stop for families and locals, and has a lot of great vendors and a good variety at that. I also love the touch with the live music and entertainment. A great way to explore this quaint area!
Nice to see this community market succeeding. I accompanied my husband, Adam Solomon, who was the featured musician that day. The market organizer, Audrey, vendors and volunteer staff were welcoming and helpful. Also picked up fresh corn-on-the-cob and fresh cherries. Looking forward to coming back again.
This market was nostalgia for me as my dad used to bring us here as kids I remember it being underneath the tall buildings and many many farmers with their great produce. I wanted to bring my dad back as he's now in the beginning stages of dementia and we were disappointed at this market no disrespect to the vendors that were there but there was only one fruit and vegetable stand. So I have to bring him back to his flea market very disappointing
