Sheryl’s Jamaican Restaurant on Eglinton serves the most authentic Jamaican food I’ve had in Toronto. Every single meal is packed with perfect seasoning and rich, bold flavors — nothing ever feels bland or lacking. I actually drive all the way from downtown just to stock up on my lunches for the work week because their food is that good. I recently learned they have a location in Queens as well, and I’m excited to try that spot out soon. If you’re craving real Jamaican flavors, Sheryl’s is the place to go!
Stumbled upon this spot while in the area, and what a great find! The jerk chicken and rice were full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and really satisfying. The staff, especially the lady who served us, was super friendly and welcoming. Definitely planning to come back next time I’m around!
I usually order Acki Saltfish. Sometimes it's ok but more often than not - it's bad. The other day was purely acki almost no salt fish. Today the acki and salt fish was mushy, overly salty - plain awful. You guys must do better I will reconsider ordering from here. Mr.lee is good the chef but I don't know what's going on otherwise
Run far...they love to over charge.... I get it. I mean I really get it. Food costs everywhere is expensive, but when you're charging $8 for a $2 drink, it's not acceptable when your prices aren't consistent. Not acceptable.... Coleslaw upwards of eight bucks when they feel like it not acceptable. It's cabbage for crying out loud
My friend got Plastic in his oxtail. Took a photo. Went back a day later. They confirmed it was plastic from manufacturer. We did not get a refund or a new oxtail plate. They offered him a small jerk chicken meal as compensation.
I ordered plain white rice off of Uber eats The price they were charging was $7... No problem ordered it my fault for having expectations at least a full to the top white rice container bussin .... Especially at that price I never thought a company would be so stingy and greedy for white rice my mistake but I'll never do it again
I have been meaning to check this place out and tonight I did Uber eats. I was a bit skeptical because I wasn't picking the food up myself it's a hit or miss sometimes by the time you get your order with Uber eats. The order arrived ahead of schedule and hot, o ordered the jerk chicken with rice and peas and an oxtail dinner, the food was delisious the oxtail was tender but just enough chew tso that it's not completly falling off the bone, well seasoned and that oxtail gravy was a highlight. The jerk chicken was full of flavour and that skin was well cooked. Food portions were just right not skimpy and the food was not overly salty. I look forward to trying some more things from the menu.
