*Food tasted great! *Service was terrible! *Waiter took drink orders one at a time. (Immediately knew our dining experience was going to be interesting!) *No follow-ups at the table after being served. *No offer for desserts / coffee / tea *Charged a gratuity for family of 3 - I would NOT have tipped as generously as he tipped himself for the service I received. NOT RIGHT! *Charged for bread and olives 2 times on my bill - is this not complimentary? I didn’t even ask for olives! No complaint over food but unfortunately based on our overall service, I would NOT return for the amount my bill cost and the service I received.
We just recently had my step father’s surprise birthday party in the upstairs hall. I initially booked with Ines who was super thorough, professional and kind. I then worked with Elisabete along the way and she was completely honest and worked with me to make sure that everything would be perfect. The servers and the bartenders were absolutely amazing. Thank you to everyone who helped me make the night super special for my step dad. The hall was beautiful and private as well.
Order a francesinha to go, when I got home to eat my food, I noticed the fries were rock hard. I don’t understand how they could have missed this. Very unacceptable, Especially how expensive this meal is.
I recently had lunch there the food was very good and full of taste the service was fantastic the place please dis regard most negative reviews because it's from pervious ownership all I have to say is good about this place the owner is fantastic guy he goes over and beyond to try make his customers very happy and the quality meets the satisfaction and try his best to satisfied all customers I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy a quiet and peaceful place trust me won't regret going and best part has lots of parking just drive in and park that's all I have to say
I did my son’s Baptism here and I have nothing but amazing things to say. The staff was patient, attentive, polite and well mannered. They catered to all my requests and even told me to relax that they would handle things for me to enjoy the event which really gave me a sense of relief. The receptionist Elizabeth was amazing! She was also very sweet and friendly and explained things very well. She reviewed things with me multiple times and explained to me all my multiple choices. She made the process as easy as possible and was a pleasure to speak with. The food was extremely well served. The portion's and the flavour was phenomenal. I was surprised with how much food I got for such a good price. I was honestly surprised and happy to see how well they served there dishes. I had soo many of my family members come compliment my party and mention how delicious the food was and asking me when would my next event be as they would be thrilled to attend another event like this one with such great food and service. The overall experience was amazing and I have nothing but great things to say. We had a fantastic time and I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking to host an event. One last thing the layout and tables looked so good .. I can keep going but you get the point - it was perfect.
Others may know of this Portugese restaurant at 475 Oakwood in Torinto but to me it was a hidden gem. Looking for a quick lunch we walked into a lovely new looking restauant that really looked surprisingly upscale on the inside When looking at restaurants I always look at what they charge for a ceasar salad and if I want to test food I order one. At $10, a more than fair price to the consumer. I wondered what I would get. What I dud get was a top rate salad, cokd crisp fresh lettuce, real slices of fresh parmegan cheese, well chisen amout of ceasar sauce, and criso croutans that did not threaten my teeth. Cool refreshing tasty top rate. We decided to share the chicken sandwhich. We received a very large piece of heated whit breast with a tasty sauce on wonderful portugese bread with tomato and lettuce. Good thing we decided to share it because a half filled me up after tge great ceasar. My wife had a wonderful cream of collard greens soup with a bit of ham that had her clean out the bowl at a cost of $5. Dud I mention tge chicjen was $12. We had a great dry white wine at $12. Well worth the cost even at lunch. Our server via Brazil, was fun warm, helpful yet very orofessional professional. Get there for their lunch whike it is still available. Whike i will definitely return fir lunch this introduction to their quality will bring me back for dinner. Dinner is priced higher but still a goid price for a wonderful evening. I look forward to trying their mains.
We visited New Casa Abril Restaurant and had an amazing experience! Our server, Marcio was outstanding—super friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. His service truly made our night special. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We absolutely loved it and will definitely be coming back!
