My colleagues and I went here for lunch. We all got tacos. The tacos were rather small and not a lot of meat in them. Some of them are pretty tasty though. A few of them were also sold out during the middle of the day. Not the best tacos, but also not the worst. I would probably try another place before coming back.
This place is a hidden jewel when it comes to authentic Mexican food. The sopes, flautas and guacamole were to die for. It waa my first time and i had no expectations, but at the end I walked away with a full belly and a happy feeling of being satisfied with good food
Loved going to this spot, the food was good and the staff was amazing! They don’t speak English but we made it work somehow and were able to check for allergies. The staff was so friendly so I would definitely recommend and go back. We enjoyed most of the food but I would say the flautas were just okay, the tacos and sopes are much better. And they had good desserts too!
Have been going for years, enjoy the sirloin tacos, sopes and the grilled full chicken. They have a quiet patio to eat on as well! Overall great spot for quality Mexican food.
Guelaguetza is a fantastic spot if you’re craving authentic Mexican food. The traditional dishes are absolutely delicious—packed with flavor and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. This restaurant is a good example of small but mighty! The ambiance had simple nice decor, but had lovely Spanish Christmas music playing - perfect for this time of year. The Mole is fantastic and Cheese enchiladas were tasty! I appreciated the hand sanitizer on the tables and will definitely stop by again when I'm in this part of town.
Popped in for lunch and to get a friend to try chilaquilles for the first time. It was decent but pretty standard. Black refried beans were boring and undersalted in my opinion. Restaurant is not very fancy but my main issue was the bathroom - first problem was walking to what seemed to be someone's room in the basement(!) while attempting to find the washroom. Second was zero toilet paper in the stall. Third was a busted toilet seat lid. Maybe the main dinner time food is fantastic but I doubt Iwill give this place another chance.
