I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was extremely slow, with wait times over 20 minutes despite being told it would only be a few minutes. The staff seemed unresponsive and unhelpful, and overall, the quality of service was lacking. I was really let down and won’t be returning.
I can honestly say that Calabar serves some of the best Nigerian food I’ve ever had in my entire life—no exaggeration! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. The staff were friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about the food they serve.
Tried two different soups both bursting with flavour, the pounded yam was delicious overall everything was amazing definitely would recommend. Will be coming back!!!!

The chicken wings were tooooooo good & came out so fresh!! Customer service was great as well, very friendly staff as well as a clean space! Will be going back!!!
This was my first time here, The vibes was chill, the music was great. I loved it here. The food ( we only ordered appetizers) was delicious and balanced with just the right amount of seasonings. The staff was attentive and super accommodating. It's definitely the right spot for a great wknd hangout.
