unreliable, and I would not recommend MacLeod Air Inc. Patrick installed a heat pump system for me a few years ago and when I called recently with a problem they were of ZERO help and disappeared
I came home to my floors floating from an HVAC leak. I tried calling the Elite as they are the company my building uses, after 3 attempts to contact them I was told they couldn’t come for a few days. MacLeod had technician’s out that afternoon and they were amazing and patient sourcing out the source. Turns out Elite had installed the splash gaurds improperly on last repair and water wasn't being directed into the drip pan as it should. I will definitely be using MacLeod moving forward.
I can't say enough about Robert the technician and Patrick the owner of MacLeod air. They didn't just come to do a routine maintenance on my heat pump they actually went a step further and found a problem. They were so quick to correct it and my heat pump is now working again and I'm so grateful especially with the summer coming. They were very personable. They listened and they were very thorough with my unit. Thank you so much for all you did and for your quick response truly appreciate it. If I could give you 10 stars I would!!
Dealing with MacLeod Air was a delightful experience they were responsive right from the start. The technicians were very knowledgeable and dependable, and Patrick was a delight to deal with.
Patrick and the team at Macleod Air get the job done right. I was impressed on how honest and trustworthy Patrick was. He fixed the unit quickly instead of telling me to replace. I had a problem a few weeks later and I reached out to him. I had tripped a breaker and he walked me through it on text after hours. He went beyond the call of duty because it was long after business hours and I desperately needed air conditioning. He saved the day! I highly recommend using their services.
MacLeod Air was recommended to me by my cousin, as his condo is serviced by MacLeod and they’ve always been happy. And now I am extremely happy too because Patrick told me he couldn’t find anything wrong with either of my condo heat pumps and gave me all kinds of valuable information about them. I’d had a company out last Summer for what I thought was a squeaky fan, who told me a refrigerant leak was suspected; that the brand of heat pump I had could not be fixed – I’d need a new one, and to order as soon as possible because with supply issues, I might hot get it before winter. Condo heat pumps aren’t cheap and I had a gut feeling that I was getting a hard sell. I can’t tell you how grateful I am to have found an honest contractor in MacLeod Air Inc. I’ll be recommending them to my building’s management company and to my neighbours; as well has having them back to do annual maintenance in my unit.
Patrick was highly responsive and professional when he helped us with the installation of two heat pump units. He ensured that the existing units (20+ years old) were temporarily fixed until the new units were sourced and installed. He was very considerate of our property and took care to leave it very clean after the installation. We would absolutely recommend MacLeod Air! We need more professionals like Patrick to help and guide people when faced with a stressful situation!!
