Quality has gone down over the last few years (assume it's new owners). Go elsewhere and don't waste your time with this place since half of the machines are never working.
I have been among to this laundromat for approx 16 years. First out of convenience then for the atmosphere, the owners at the time were great people who would engage you in conversation and have a good laugh with you. The place was always clean and if there were any issues they would be addressed fairly quickly. Over the last few year the quality of service has declined significantly. The simple fact that more than half of the machines seem to be out of order and the getting worse by the day is infuriating. It Is no longer convenient nor enjoyable to continue coming to this location. I suggest until they fix these machines you go elsewhere, unless you have 2-3 hours to waste waiting around for a machine to become available.
It seems 70% of the machines are labelled “not working”. Very frustrating I’ve been coming here for years and it’s getting out of hand to the point where this review needs to be made. It doesn’t matter if it’s a weekend or weekday it’s a struggle finding a machine to do your laundry. Wasn’t like this with the previous owners.
It needs love and attention. Machines dirty and more than half out of order. Good thing the machines don't charge much. Increase the price and get a cleaner to clean it up abit.
Today was my first visit to this laundromat, and I will be coming back. Friendly and helpful staff, plenty of machines including extra large ones and in a very convenient location. Yes, there were several machines that were out of order, but that is pretty typical of the majority of laundromats out there, service calls are expensive so it makes sense to wait a bit until there are several machines to service. I went during one of the busier times during the week according to Google, yet I was able to use 4 giant washers (I believe 6 out of 8 were in service), 2 triple washers and 10 dryers without having to wait for a machine or having others waiting on me, so the out of service machines had no affect on me or others during my visit. I did have an issue with one of the dryers not drying, but the courteous attendant attempted to troubleshoot the machine to no avail, so he had me load those items into another dryer and started the dryer giving me the same time as I put in on the first one. It didn't take all that long to dry it anyways and I had so many loads going on it didn't delay me one bit. But they made good on it immediately and rectified the situation with no problems at all, just very friendly and courteous service. In terms of cleanliness, it's pretty clean. I wouldn't eat off of the floors, but the tables were all clean as were the machines. There was some garbage strewn across the floor, mostly in the form of dryer sheets. But that's customers dropping them and not picking them up. I did drop a couple, but users should be respectful and clean up after themselves. Having said that, it's not filthy at all. I felt it was clean enough to handle my laundry. The machines work very well, the giant and triple machines even do 2 wash cycles and 3 rinse cycles. That's where I messed up the first time, I didn't properly read the instructions so the first wash cycles were without detergent, just the second one had the detergent and then had the fabric softener in the third drawer. Now I know for next time, but my items all still came out very clean and fresh, the machine did a MUCH better job than the ones in my building and the capacity was very very large. At first I wasn't sure if I could fit a full 91L garbage bag into each of these machines, but I was able to do so with lots of room to spare even, so they did get washed very well.. and at $6 for the giant machine that can take care of several loads of laundry at once, that's the cost of two small loads in my apartment but I can get more than two loads done at the same price.. Also with that number of machines, I could further split my loads in the dryers so they took less time to dry. I went in with so much laundry, but I was able to get that many loads washed, dried and folded in under 2 hours.. With the two machines in my building that would have taken the entire day. I was also able to get a few groceries on my way out as it's very close to the Food Basics in the plaza. There are also several food joints in the plaza, coffee, subs, pizza and fried chicken.. Lots of parking is available. In my experience it's a very good laundromat.. Even though it was exhausting loading so many machines and having to fold so many things, it was nice to also just be able to get so much done in such a short amount of time. It was also well-lit and felt safe.
Forgot a load of laundry here went after a couple days to get it, the female working there said they had it in a cart usually in this place they keep laundry for a good 30 days. I’ve done laundry gone back two weeks later and laundry is still there that I’ve sorted through to see if any of my things were there now within a couple of days. My clothes have all been gone and I believe 100% that my clothes were stolen and I strongly believe it was by one of the employees the way they reacted on this day. Also, my laundry got stuck in one of their damage machines had to wait two hours for the owner to come and release my clothes to me. Washer couldn’t be open half the time or all the time next time I will add pictures. Majority of the washers are out of service or can only use cold water the driers also majority does not work. Whoever is saying this is the best laundromat ever must be a family member or a paid reviewer. This laundromat used to be the best when it was owned by the previous owners these new owners do not take care of this place they just want the coins to keep coming in. Why do you have to wait because only seven out of 15/20 washers work or dryers? Terrible terrible place 0 stars if possible
These people were the only stores that were able to help me out in a pinch. They were the only stores from home Depot, Walmart, and Canadian Tire that were able to duplicate my key. Thank you! You saved me in so many ways.
