I've been coming here now for the Shockwave treatments for my osteoarthritis in my hip. I will have replacement surgery in the fall but I needed some pain management until then and these treatments have made a huge difference. The pain and discomfort have been reduced a great deal, more so than any medication was doing for me. My therapist , Shiela, is fantastic to work with and she is very knowledgeable. Had a very bad experience at this clinic.i went there 3 times and every time the Dr adjusted my back causing pain on my hip with I told him the second time , he said it was normal. I'm still in pain after few months and it's not getting any better, I have had days I wasn't able to walk get up etc. My first visit I was asked to leave a review.
I see Chiropractor Dr. Topp she is friendly, professional, easy to talk to and has helped me with issues with my back, neck, and knee. I also see massage therapist Julie, she is amazing. Once again friendly, professional, and great at her job. Her massages are relaxing, and really help with trouble areas. Just a terrific, friendly, office that I’ve been going to for over 4 years.
I was in a car accident 4months ago. I have been doing my therapy treatment here and the staff and doctors and massage therapist are amazing. They have been taking such good care of me and have been so vigilant with my progress and treatment plan. The staff are kind and gentle and really listen to you. I never feel like I am being rushed with my progress or lack of. They are always so positive and remind me that slow progress is progress too. I came to see Dr. Oleson while having acute pain in my lower back for over a week. During our initial visit, she assessed the extent of my injury, and then communicated her plan for treatment, including any potential adverse affects. This was followed by an initial treatment. The thing I really appreciate about her treatments is that it's more than just a quick adjustment and then you leave. She will listen to changes in your condition, and use a combination of assisted stretching, manual massage, joint manipulation, and self stretching to be continued between visits. This is in conjunction with good patient education so that I know what to watch for, how to better manage my condition, and to understand what and why she's treating me with those treatments.
I went for treatment for a torn meniscus. It was painful and hurt something fierce. Claudia , one of the therapist there treated me. She was kind caring and extremely knowledgeable. I really appreciated the way she got to know my views on health and supported that views with specific and targeted exercises for me. I recovered wonderfully and am back at my regular schedule and doign my regular gym workouts with zero pain. The knee is back to 99.99 percent function. Thanks Claudia. The centre offers a number of other services. I suspect they approach care in the same manner that Claudia did. I would not hesitate at all to recommend Mount Dennis Physiotherapy to anyone.
