I came in yesterday Thursday September 10th at 8pm and the woman who was working there was very rude and made me feel unwelcomed even though im a long term customer who’s been coming to this location for the past 2 years and she’s seen me many times. She could have at least asked me to leave in a nice manner. I come to this store a lot and what she did was very unnecessary. All the other employees are super nice. I didn’t bring ID with me since my friend was purchasing the Cannabis. She told me that I have to leave the store in a very condescending manner even though she saw me making purchases at the store many times. I honestly don’t know what she has against me because I’ve always been nice to her and she treated me as if I was not a customer. She literally embarrassed me infront of my friend and my friend was shocked as well. None of the employees there have treated me like that and since their familiar with me and see that I’m of age they dont ask me for ID but I understand she’s doing her job but kicking me out for no reason when my friend was making a purchase and her knowing that Im a customer was super unnecessary. Im not going to spend money at an establishment that dosent value their customers. It’s pretty obvious that I don’t look under 19 and it was my friend purchasing the weed not me and she still proceeds to kick me out. I wont ever go back to this location. There are dispensaries not far from Canvas that have more options that I’ll be making my purchases from. An employee like this who treats customers like this is a liability to the business and I wouldn’t hire someone like that.
Tried to stop in today but arrived to a closed store. Upon calling another location, I was told to wait for up to 30 minutes for someone to open the door. Better call ahead or go somewhere else
The only Dispensary on Weston Road, so is the go to spot..A little pricey for Low Grade Product. Not that much of selections for is you want to Save Money on Weed. Would be nice to see reasonable Prices.
Been happy with most of my purchases, until I bot a $17 prerolls single that I COULDN'T even smoke. The Kief irritated my throat.was xpecting weed and distillate or maybe some hash I only go here cause it's close. That's the ONLY REASON.
I visited this location for the first time today, first of all it's absolutely gorgeous! The staff was extremely knowledgeable and helped me find what I needed right away. I will definitely be back.
I had to go with only 4 stars. The staff and selection are very good as are the prices. Great staff! The downside is that the building -in 2022 - is not accessible as there are steps and no ramps for us the disabled. WIth the AODA coming into full force Jan 1 2025 this might be time to invest in a ramp to accommodate all customers. If not I am not averse to shopping elsewhere in future.
The customer service is sublime. First time buying weed, so I didn’t really know what I was looking for. Nick helped me out through the process so easily and with ZERO complications whatsoever. He also told me Canvas is the first female-led cannabis shop in Ontario and I vibe HARD with that. He gave me the type of customer service one dreams of. Also the pot itself is great. Me and my girls had an amazing time. If I could leave more that 5 starts believe me I would. Simply magnificent.
